The room was spacious and welcoming, housed in a building with a lovely history, but the cleanliness of the premises could be improved; nothing serious, yet cobwebs give it a dated feel.

The breakfast was excellent, with high‑quality pastries, and the beds and pillows were comfortable; the lack of air conditioning wasn’t an issue because the room cooled quickly. However, the room’s cleanliness left something to be desired: cobwebs and spiders were in the corners, dust was under the beds, the bathroom lacked a towel rack, the shower curtain was short, and there was no shower mat. The windows were a bit old‑fashioned and there were no mosquito nets.

The room was clean, but it was very hot in the summer, so a fan helped a bit. I think it would have been nice to have a small fridge with some water, little things that make a big difference.
