“Fijn hotel voor op doorreis, leuke sfeer.”

We were just passing through on our way to Italy and appreciated how the hotel sits only five minutes off the highway, offering a cozy vibe with an on‑site restaurant and parking right beside it; although the playground was closed, there was another one about 500 m away that the staff pointed out, and the friendly team kept the room spotless, spacious and equipped with four beds for two adults and a three‑year‑old child, making it a genuine recommendation.

“Nette verblijfplaats voor een nacht, goed restaurant”

The room we got was tidy, well‑kept and quiet enough that we heard nothing outside, and despite lacking air‑conditioning the four‑person space stayed comfortable while the dinner portions were generous and tasty; breakfast was a bit lean but they could customise items, and a tiny playground for little kids sat near the car park, though when we arrived nobody was present to check us in and we had to call out repeatedly before someone finally emerged from the kitchen after the fifth attempt, and because the terrace was crowded the food arrived in separate batches.

The room was cozy and comfortable, but they didn’t give us the room we requested and there was no elevator.

The staff were unfriendly, and after a long back‑and‑forth a hotel bill was finally issued. Breakfast tasted like it was from the previous day.

“A good overnight spot.”

The family room was nice for an overnight stay. We walked up the road for dinner, but breakfast was lovely. There’s a small playground outside with a very friendly cat that passes through. The room was very hot because of the heat wave, but two fans helped.
