“Excelente Posada Coreana”

The facilities are excellent, the room is comfortable and spacious, and it includes a kitchen area, a breakfast nook and a refrigerator. The place is a classic Korean inn and the staff are outstanding, always attentive. I recommend it and would choose it again. It wasn’t inconvenient for us because it was what we were looking for, but for others it might not be close enough to the beach or points of interest; still it is 600‑700 m from the beach and 300 m from restaurants.

I wanted a quiet, low‑key spot to start my vacation, and Starlight Drops delivered with a nighttime soundtrack of nothing but crickets. The pension was clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed. Mr. and Mrs. Bo were genuinely helpful and friendly. My suite only had two conventional kitchen chairs, which weren’t the most comfortable for sitting and reading, but they worked fine otherwise.

It’s a 10‑minute walk to the bus stop and a 15‑minute walk to the beach. Take the smaller roads closer to the sea instead of the main road and you’ll find plenty of restaurants and cafes; my favorite is besenroo. The room was spacious, the hot shower was good, the Wi‑Fi was decent, and there’s a nice downstairs indoor and outdoor lounge for shared use with coffee and tea machines.

“Unsatisfactory service, good location.”

There’s a free water fountain on the ground floor, cute cats that roam the area, and a parking space in front of the stay. After checking in and going out, we returned in the evening to find a cockroach in the room. When we reported it, the host chased it out but was very defensive about any action, saying we couldn’t change rooms because all were booked and that he had already given us multiple perks. He mentioned we had checked in 30 minutes early after asking if it was possible, and that he had carried one of our luggage pieces into the room, which didn’t justify ignoring the cockroach issue. The shocking part was when he offered a full refund and told us we could find another place in the middle of the night, which felt unprofessional and unpleasant. Another annoying issue is that the AC unit turns off after about 4 hours, so on hot, humid nights you might have to turn it back on to sleep.
