What an excellent gem of a guest house. We were made very welcome by our hostess. The room was a dream, with little pots of tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was an absolute cracker—best English‑cooked breakfast I’ve had in a long time. I’m a sausage connoisseur, so I was impressed by the supplier; ask the hostess nicely and she’ll let you into her secret supplier. Perfection takes a lot of hard work, so I can’t put anything else here.
