“Poor, and I definitely cannot recommend it. There are many things that could be improved.”
Parking the car directly in the hotel’s lot was convenient. I think two stars is fair; the hotel has potential and is run by a very young manager still learning, but many aspects need work, especially customer service. We faced several serious problems due to poor communication: we were charged more than the agreed price, didn’t get our prepaid breakfast on time, and never received a proper tax receipt or invoice. The hotel said the card payment receipt was enough, and we’re still waiting for the correct document. The receptionist was friendly at first, but any request turned into a hassle. When the AC remote failed, he took the batteries from the TV remote we were using and told us to swap them between remotes. He offered me a €2 beer but refused card payment even though a terminal was available, denied my request for a second room key card, and at about 2 a.m. I was woken by loud laughter from the courtyard— the receptionist himself was among those laughing. The room looked new and nice but felt unfinished: despite cold September weather, there was only a bedsheet instead of a duvet, an unpleasant sewage smell came from the shower drain, and there were no hooks for towels or clothes. Positives were the relatively low price, parking directly at the hotel below our room, and the edge‑of‑town location, which is less convenient for sightseeing but perfect for our early departure toward the Montenegro border. Overall, the hotel looks nice and new and has plenty of potential. I sincerely wish them good luck and hope these issues improve.
