LaTrobe Motel Morwell

It was very comfortable and the staff were lovely.

“Not good”

Everything was damp, towels ran out of hot water within minutes, and the toilet had running problems.

“Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms clean and beds comfortable.”

The room was a good size and the staff were friendly, but the Wi‑Fi connection was poor and one tenant was very aggressive for no reason.

Parking was tight, especially when cars were coming from the opposite direction; the driveway was a real squeeze. We later discovered a security gate at one end of the property, but no one had told us about it or given us the codes. The price was the main reason I chose this place, though.

“All good but suddenly no heater.”

The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the amenities were nice. However, last night the hot water in the shower went out and stayed off until morning; I waited about 30 minutes but only cold water came out, probably because everyone was using hot water around midnight. The air‑con heater also didn’t work properly.
