Malia Holidays Hotel

I stayed at Malia Holidays from August 16 to August 28, spending 12 fantastic days in Crete. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel’s location is perfect for me, close to the bus station, local shops, and tavernas. Breakfast was fine—nothing to complain about. The reception staff were very friendly, and the bar guy was also pleasant.

The location is excellent. The bathroom and the room overall could use some renovation, but the value for money is good—it’s acceptable for a guys’ getaway.

“Najlepszy hotel w centrum Mali”

We stayed at this hotel with a group of friends. The breakfasts were varied and met our needs. The rooms were clean upon arrival. A nice option was the ability to extend the hotel day for 30€, and the location of the hotel is a major plus. Mrs. Mery is the best person at this hotel, making you want to return. The price‑to‑quality ratio definitely earns five stars. It’s a pity the pool was only open until 18:00, and the price for renting pool towels is absurd.

“Great Family run Hotel right in the Heart of Malia”

The staff are fantastic and friendly, and the location is great—right in the heart of Malia, just a 2‑minute walk from the Old Town and its great taverns, and also a 2‑minute walk from the bustle of “The Strip.” Despite the proximity, it’s very quiet, and transport links (bus and taxi) are very convenient. A large supermarket is directly opposite, and the beach is about a 10–15 minute walk away. The swimming pool is excellent with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, and the pool bar offers a good selection of snacks and drinks. Everything is spotlessly clean. The only downside is the breakfast selection, but after five years staying here it doesn’t take away from the overall positives.
