“A real lovely place to stay.”

The place was quiet and beautiful, a great spot to sit, relax, and soak in the surroundings; we saw ducks, chickens, geese, and rabbits roaming freely, plus a couple of goats in their enclosure. Local pubs served good meals, and there are plenty of sights and activities within an hour’s drive. I didn’t find anything I disliked; I appreciated the tranquility and wasn’t after a bustling nightlife, though some people might. There’s a small on‑site bar, but that’s it.

It’s a friendly, family‑run holiday park that made my family feel very welcome, with well‑maintained grounds, very clean facilities, and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

We loved the peace and tranquillity of Thornburg Holiday Park, a lovely place with plenty of green space and fishing lakes; the host was very friendly and helpful, it’s great for dogs with a paddock for them to run, and the lack of light pollution at night makes the sky starry and helps me sleep well.
