I booked a single night for a nighttime stop. The lady who welcomed us was very kind. The building is a charming feature in the little village. The breakfast, however, felt a bit underwhelming for the price I paid.

I cannot overestimate how kind our hosts were. They came and picked us up from a nearby station and took us there at the end of our visit. They also phoned ahead to make sure that the place of interest we wanted to visit was open and a guide was there for us. And they arranged a dinner for us at a local restaurant and took us there and arranged for the restaurant owner to bring us back. They could not have been kinder and our visit was a huge success. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Caroline and John. It was all excellent
