“Falta diligencia”
The hotel is very pretty and well‑located, and the staff—especially at reception—are excellent, but the hot water failed and only on the last day of my stay did they fix it, which was awful.

The hotel sits on a prominent corner in the town’s heart, a short walk to the Dalt Vila and close to shops and restaurants, and another short walk to the beach (Platja de Figueretas); the outdoor terrace is a lovely spot for people‑watching and breakfast, the staff speak several languages, and the roof terrace is a delightful place to enjoy a cocktail early in the evening. However, our room’s decor felt a bit tired—an “1980s Florida‑esque art‑deco homage” with too much lacquered finish—and the stained carpet was unacceptable for a 5‑star property; it seemed as if we were in a room meant for customers on a discount platform, and the housekeeping had apparently missed shampooing the small carpet patches around the bed. Even though September is the season’s end, it shouldn’t take that long to clean; if the hotel was fully booked, I could have asked for a room change, but once unpacked it’s hard to justify a fuss, and the accumulated carpet stains make the room look shabby.

The rooms are good, the breakfast is good, and everything is clean and comfortable; the view and proximity to the marina, top restaurants, and clubs are great. It would help if more irons were available or if a special ironing service were offered.

The location is fantastic, the staff at reception and breakfast were friendly and helpful, the breakfast itself was great, and I would definitely recommend this hotel; many thanks to everyone who took care of us.
