The spot is right in the middle of the wilderness, with wildlife strolling and swimming right by the tent. Everything else about the stay felt fantastic, but the price was steep compared with other lodges we’ve tried.

The location inside the Kway concession is beautiful, but the price felt outrageous and the staff were more hostile than helpful, almost like a military outpost. All meals were buffet‑style and left a lot to be desired – tiny portions, bland dishes, no sweet options at breakfast, and juices made from powder. The mokoro ride was underwhelming, the game drives all felt the same, and the tent bathroom was falling apart with mice showing up regularly.

Stumbled onto a real gem – the place is perfectly situated and the staff go above and beyond. Food was tasty, the room exceeded expectations, and the whole experience felt spot‑on.

The team is genuinely friendly and did everything they could to make us comfortable; the views of the Delta were spectacular, especially with the water level high that season. Rooms and common areas were comfortable, well‑heated, and the Wi‑Fi held up in the lounge. The pool could use a fresh coat, the bathroom is dim and missing a full‑length mirror, and there’s room to add mokoro trips on the lagoon and better communication between safari vehicles.

From the moment we touched down at the airstrip and met Bman, his enthusiasm for the Okavango Delta set the tone for an unforgettable adventure. Even in a low‑visibility season, we saw vivid birds, a leopard lounging in a tree, and a lion pride with cubs, while the lodge’s comfy beds and thoughtful amenities made evenings relaxing.
