“We did not stay even 20 minutes”

I was totally deceived by what was shown online. There was no parking, the room was a single bed, the wall air‑con was loud, and it was very uncomfortable. My husband and I decided to cancel, but they refused a refund. I suggest the hotel be reprimanded.

The location is great—close to the center and Jeepneys depart right outside or on the parallel street. The staff are very friendly, and there’s a small laundry service in front of the hotel that finishes your laundry in 3 hours. McDonald’s is within walking distance for a cheap breakfast. The room has air‑conditioning and hot water. The only downside is that rooms are also rented by the hour.

I’m back for a second stay here, and honestly the staff still rock. The place is cheap yet surprisingly cozy, and the bed is just right. Even when a typhoon hit last time, they happily let me stay longer. I was tempted to upgrade to a pricier hotel, but I’d rather spend my money with good people than on a generic bed. It’s not a 5‑star spot, but it beats an Australian country pub and feels like a home away from home in Tacloban ❤️. The relaxed vibe is a plus, though it can feel a bit laid‑back.

“Decent hotel but don't expect too much”

The TV comes with free YouTube and Netflix, the room is air‑conditioned and clean, but the bedsheet looked more like a napalitan than the spacious sheet I had pictured.
