We chose this loft for its uniqueness and that part succeeded; the surroundings are there, but the promise of a cosy stay was not met. The exterior maintenance needs work—dirty and neglected. The cabin is okay but could be much better. It seems there are two units; the photos showed the second, with a small jacuzzi protected by screens, but ours was visible to neighbours on the building and pedestrians by the canal, offering no privacy on the boat.

The quirky vibe, good location, nearby bus and convenience store, and a nice walk or bike ride if you like running or walking were great, but the front‑building neighbours could see the jacuzzi, and I would have liked a street‑side privacy screen too.

The jacuzzi and the boat itself were fantastic, but the vehicle and train passages were annoying.

The location near the city centre, the quirky boat and functional aspects were positives, but the proximity to the tracks with passing trains, the foul smells rising into the bathroom, the host’s lack of response to messages, the lack of privacy with too many close‑by views, the old jacuzzi with a cracked bubble cover, the difficulty of bringing outside food because the ladder was steep and narrow, and the small bed unsuitable for people over 1.80 m made me not recommend it.

“Expérience atypique”

The location was good, close to a bike station and you could get around with a YEGO. It was a unique experience. The décor was pretty and the room was quiet at night. The host’s instructions for check‑out were clear. The jacuzzi water wasn’t clean and there was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom; even with the windows open the odor lingered. The bed felt a bit small, so it would help to list the dimensions in the description.
