The planned travel destinations were at a good distance. The pension’s best years are behind it, but the owner made an effort to keep everything clean and in order.

The place is great, especially the location. The rooms are simple and a bit old‑fashioned, but that’s not a big deal for me.

The check‑in and check‑out were pretty cold. No warmth from the staff, just a quick hand‑shake.

Remote spot, nothing around, but only a 6‑minute walk to the Ötscher ski station. Motorcyclists make it noisy, so it’s not quiet. The owner arrives exactly at 2 p.m., no earlier. Breakfast was a letdown: only two rolls per person, awful coffee, no milk or gluten‑free options. The single room mattress was sagging, the window couldn’t tilt, and the room looked like the 1960s with plastic chairs on the balcony.

The location is lovely and the host is friendly. I did miss a fridge in my room, but the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The mattress felt soft to me, which is a matter of taste. Overall, we were happy.
