We stayed with three other people in this Shinjuku spot that had everything we needed for comfort. Two separate showers and two separate WCs were perfect for us, and the three bedrooms with four separate beds fit us all nicely. The place was clean, charming, and had everything we required. The owners were quick and easy to communicate with. The only downside was that the space was a little cramped, as is common in Japan, and the stairs were always too narrow.

The accommodation had no elevator but was on the first floor, so carrying luggage was fine. It had two rooms, a full kitchen, a washing machine, a drying rack, and air‑conditioning. It was ten minutes from the subway. The luggage wasn’t monitored; it was left in the hallway if you arrived early.

I recommend adding an elevator because it’s so inconvenient to use stairs with large luggage, and the host didn’t tell us beforehand that there was no elevator. The room we got was on the fifth floor, and we have two people with disabilities, so it felt uncomfortable. No elevator.
