It was a traditional Ottoman house with a clean room and bathroom; breakfast was good but a bit pricey; the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the old‑town centre was a 5‑minute walk to shops and restaurants.

The staff and breakfast were really good, but the room was very unusual with the bathroom inside a kind of wardrobe.

“Nice owner and good rooms”

The owner was really kind, even arranging a cab to the bus station and helping with our luggage since there’s no elevator, which is typical for a Konak. The room was tidy and well equipped, and it’s just a minute’s walk to the lively Safranbolu town. I did notice a few pieces of trash under the beds, so the room could be a bit cleaner.
