The location was good and there were a washing machine, dryer, and iron. There was no active reception; we were left alone, with only cleaning staff present, which was very bad, especially for me. I had to give a low rating because the bathroom water didn’t work, neither the basin tap nor the toilet. That’s outrageous, so I didn’t book a deluxe room or pay for it… there was no partial compensation at all. I had to use public toilets and basins for basic needs and was simply left alone with the problem. No effort was made to solve it. The only solution offered was to move to another building, which was much farther away. Swing & Pillow in Penang was great, but in Melaka, especially on Jonker Street, it was just trash!

The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly; I'd love to return. The only downside was the slow shower water in the toilet.
