A heart‑felt hotel that stole the show on our trip. A tiny place with lots of charm, an authentically renovated Thai home, tucked away from Bangkok’s bustle in a typical alley. The perks: quick boat access to the historic center (multiple departures within 5 minutes on foot for 22 bath), a river view that invites you to stay, read, or meditate, comfortable bedding, and a friendly team. A different way to see Bangkok.

This place is a real find, tucked away in one of Bangkok's lesser-known neighborhoods. The house itself is beautifully restored and has a lot of character. It's a great spot to experience the real Bangkok, away from the tourist crowds.

I was blown away by the charm of this authentic Thai house on the Praya. From the intricate design details to the family history on display, it's clear that a lot of love and care has gone into creating this unique venue. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the double-height room is a real showstopper. My only suggestion would be to add some air conditioning to the main living room space - the ventilator has its charm, but it can get pretty hot in there.
