The host, a caring US guy, even rents surfboards and gives lessons, and the nearby Pavones surf spot is just a 5‑10 minute drive past horses in the meadow. The balcony hammock is perfect for sunset watching.

“Will definitely be back”

I was pretty worn out and had a few injuries when I arrived, but the family made sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality was great, and the whole place felt laid‑back with birds, fireflies, monkeys, and their pets roaming around. The bed, linens, and pillows were brand new and super comfy.

The location is unbeatable – ocean view, jungle view, toucans, iguanas, monkeys, all the sounds you can imagine. The huge covered balcony, fans, well‑stocked communal kitchen, hammocks, and outdoor seating make it feel like a modern dream home, and the security is so good I never had to lock my car or room. The dogs on the property were a sweet bonus, especially since I miss my own.

The room was huge and super comfy, but getting there was a nightmare – the only 4x4 street is in terrible condition. The access is basically a death sentence for any vehicle. Still, if you can make it, the space inside is great.

Sunrise at the house of dreams is absolutely amazing – the view is breathtaking. Dennis is incredibly kind and attentive, making the stay feel like a home. It's a super experience I won't forget.
