The accommodation was larger than I expected, and our five‑person family fit in comfortably; we appreciated the welcome package because we arrived at night and couldn't shop, the kids loved the little trampoline playground just a few meters away and the many local animals, especially the waterbirds that visited us regularly; the location is very quiet, though we can hear planes, but since we’re also close to the airport it didn’t bother us much; we found no major shortcomings.

Cleanliness, furnishings, and the two terraces were great, but the noise from Schiphol airport was unavoidable.

We over‑booked; the confirmation said payment would be on site with no pre‑payment needed, and no invoice was sent; a few days later we received an email saying the booking was cancelled; trying to contact the service provider was very difficult—messages went unanswered, and after long waits on the hotline we finally spoke to an employee who said we’d have to re‑book and that the costs should be refunded; overall I was not very satisfied.

The place is modern and clean with nice décor, but you need a car to get around, and when the wind blows the connection between the house and the pier squeaks loudly inside the house.

A beautiful, quiet spot on the water with cozy furnishings and all the essentials; it’s an excellent base for quick and hassle‑free public transport to Amsterdam.
