The location was convenient – you could walk to a large mall, and the hotel area was quiet with a convenience store and small restaurants nearby. The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful, and we’re grateful for their assistance. The room’s décor was all new and very comfortable. The only downside was that there was no mini‑fridge in the room, which was unfortunate. We were bitten by insects in both consecutive nights, and the swelling was severe – hopefully it wasn’t a cleaning issue. The sound insulation in the room was a bit poor.

The location was decent, within walking distance of the temple and the French quarter. The hotel was a bit run down and needed some work, and there was no proper full‑length mirror in the room.

“Extremely small bedroom but in a good location”

The hotel’s location was pretty good, right in the middle of the French Concession, making it a solid choice for a one‑night stay in Shanghai. The room was extremely small, with the wash basin right next to the bed instead of inside the bathroom. There was a bit of mold in the shower and some fittings were showing signs of wear, indicating a need for better maintenance.

The room’s furnishings and bedding were solid – I liked the pillow so much I wanted to take it home, though it never got shipped to Taiwan. Being on the second floor near the road meant the place was noisy from around seven in the morning, and the windows didn’t block the sound well. The space only has a tiny round table and barely any power sockets, so a proper desk for laptop work would be a welcome addition.

“Ottima location, Staff insomma”

The room itself was good and the location couldn’t be better, making it easy to explore the area. The problem was the front desk – they weren’t prepared and cancelled my reservation, forcing me to re‑book at check‑in at a higher rate.
