Staff were friendly. The crack under the door forced us to walk outside, dust filaments hung on the walls, and mold was present at the base of the shower.

Cleanliness was good. There were no pillowcases for me.

Close to some amenities. The tub, sink and toilet seemed okay and were cleaned. Fridge and small microwave were present. The pool was not swim‑able, it was green. Floors, walls, doors, everything was dirty and sticky. There were spots of sticky chunky stuff… I recommend not removing shoes inside. No pillows were provided. You have to take pillow shams from the decorative pillows to sleep. Walls and floors were paper thin, you could hear your neighbor snore. The door wasn’t fully sealed, there were openings around the frame to outside. You have to go to the front desk for items like soap, a hair dryer, etc. Nothing was in the room at arrival time. The smell was musty.

The photos are outdated. The building is neglected. The cleanliness of the premises is questionable.

The location was the only good thing I can say about the motel. Could not use the pool - the water was so murky that we could not see the 2nd step. I have no doubt if the city tested the water they would shut it down. Addressed with reception - they said water was tested 2x WEEKLY! Unacceptable. The room was so incredibly dated and dirty. We had to duck to go up the stairs due to the spider webs/spiders. There was no hot water. No in room coffee. Asked for a hairdryer - there were "none available". The furniture was covered in dust, the ledges around the windows filthy and filled with dead bugs. Door didn't shut properly. Locals picking cigarette butts from the small buckets outside of each room. Approached for money by people when going to my room. Did not feel at all safe. Was there with my granddaughter who asked if we could sleep in the car. All addressed with front reception staff and was told "this is a motel" not the "Chateau Joliette". Asked for my money back and they said no - take it up with Booking .com as I booked through them
