It’s a beautiful period home in a beautiful location. Sue, Bill, and the whole staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The homemade breakfasts were delicious, and we enjoyed having coffee on the wrap‑around porch each morning. Nothing comes to mind. Inns like the Sterling are our go‑to type of lodging—friendly, low‑key, comfortable, and with a proud history.

Nous avons tout adoré dans cet établissement très chaleureux et charmant. Sue et Bill (nos hôtes) sont des personnes super sympathiques, accueillantes et bienveillantes. Our hosts bill and sue were awesome they have a diamond up there in caratunk. Will definitely be going back soon. Thank you Sue and Bill for making our stay so great

Great place to stay. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great. Rooms/bathrooms all very clean. Wish we could have stayed for several more days! We will be making our way back
