The York Palace Accommodation

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom looked like a fairly new upgrade.

“Pleasantly surprised”

The photos made me think the room would be small, old‑fashioned and tired, but it was not at all; it was freshly renovated, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was much larger and more modern than I expected. The beds were comfortable and I loved the little sitting area outside. I would have liked a toaster or something for food preparation, but I went knowing that wasn’t available and managed. An extra towel hanger or two in the bathroom would help. I can see they are planning to put hedges or something between each room’s sitting areas, and that will be excellent too.

“Great place and location. Very clean.”

The place was great in size and location, easy to find, and the host service was excellent and helpful, but the bedspread was really heavy.

“Owners were very accommodating as we arrived early and were able to access the rooms.”

Parking was secure and convenient, the room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were good for an overnight stay.

“Very enjoyable”

The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and in a good location; nothing could have been better, and I was very happy with both the location and the stay.
