The location is great, the place is quiet, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The staff are helpful and the building is well kept, with a vintage elevator. The only problem was that in our room the water made a loud noise when flushed, but it didn’t bother us.

The host is very friendly, replies quickly, and always leaves water available. It’s close to the metro, supermarkets, and restaurants. The only issue is that although it has all the cooking amenities, you can only use the microwave.

First off, the entrance was not clearly marked; if the host didn’t tell you, you’d get lost and would have to circle the lobby several times before finding it. I only got the information after messaging the host. The room I was given was nothing like the one shown on the website. Every time I used water—flushing the toilet, washing my hands, showering—I heard a noise like an old turbine washing machine. The hair dryer was basically a toy and unusable. The curtains weren’t blackout and couldn’t be pulled all the way down to block outside light. On the first night I slept with wet hair and didn’t sleep well at all, and something bit my back, leaving a mark. The worst part was after I told the host I needed to cancel the remaining nights, he verbally agreed, but after I left the property, Booking said he denied ever agreeing. He kept misleading me into canceling on my own. After I persisted and called Booking several times, they finally processed a refund, but it cost me an entire morning and afternoon, plus the taxi fare from the train station to the property.
