They advertise breakfast included in the price, but when we arrived they said it wasn’t available or was closed, and they made no adjustment. That’s unacceptable.

We left quickly. The staff service was awful, the room had a disheveled bed that smelled old and we had to sleep on the bedspread; the fridge didn’t work and had cloth towels inside, the tub’s shampoo holder fell off, the toilet looked very old and in poor condition. No Wi‑Fi was provided. We had booked via Booking, but the receptionist told us they didn’t work with Booking, that the room was more expensive, and that Booking was bad and we shouldn’t use it. Both the receptionist and the assistant were drinking, which gave a bad impression. We had to complain about the price, and they wouldn’t give breakfast because supposedly the time was until 8:45 am, a time never mentioned, even though Booking said until 9:45 am; after we verified the reservation, they finally gave it. We left quickly. Terrible experience, first time in Armenia, overpriced for such terrible service. Urgent customer‑service training needed!

I loved how close the hotel was to all the sights I wanted to see. Nothing else really mattered because getting around was a breeze.

The place is right where you want to be – everything’s within walking distance. The only downside is the breakfast; it’s the same spread every single morning, which gets pretty dull fast. Other than that, the location makes up for it.
