“Disappointing,. This room not value for money, booking.com added £13.50 to standard price for 1 nigh”
The tea/coffee tray was nice, and the reception/bar girls were friendly. The village location is pretty with plenty of shops and bars, and the breakfast was average. The single room in the attic was very small, had a low ceiling, creaky floorboards, and was on a slope. The radiator didn’t work, the sink taps were stiff and hard to turn on, and the room needs redecorating. There were many plug sockets but they required two extension leads, raising safety concerns.
“It suited us well for an overnight stay.”
The food was superb in both quality and quantity, and parking on site was plentiful. The bed area could use a bit more space.
“Good intown location, nice ages building feeling and experience.”
The location was great for my trip to Bromyard. There were plenty of sitting areas and many side rooms to relax in, plus a nearby hall outside. I was aware there was an active event on the premises during my visit, and even with a month’s advance booking the cost felt a bit high for a one‑night stay. That said, if I need a temporary place in Bromyard in the future, I would consider staying here based on my experience.
“Historisch overnachten”
A large parking lot behind the hotel and a good bed.
“No food/drink on Sunday evenings and ignored by owner/manager.”
Free parking was a plus. The owner/manager was not hospitable at all, ignoring us and sitting with his cats in the reception looking down. We arrived on a Sunday and found no restaurant food or bar service, a fact that wasn’t disclosed when we booked. Had we known, we wouldn’t have booked. The courtyard was filled with a large number of cats and their feeding bowls.
