The location was good, but the pool was filthy when we arrived. There was only one sun lounger on the property and it had a broken leg, so it couldn’t be used. The owners seem to know this and have chosen not to replace the loungers. We stayed here again in January 2026, and it feels like the place has deteriorated since then.

We’ve booked this place many times and it’s always been enjoyable. The only downside is that there’s no washing machine, just a tumble dryer.

The spot is spot on, just a short walk from everything and a quick hop to Kruger National Park. It’s a family‑friendly place with tons of activities, and the unit was spot‑on for a family of four with teens—clean, quiet, and fully equipped. If you’re not in the mood to cook, the on‑site restaurant is right next door. Every evening there’s a family game to keep everyone entertained, so I can’t recommend it enough for families who want to visit Kruger but prefer not to stay inside the park. The only thing that would make it even better is a coffee maker, like a plunger or a Bialetti moka pot; it’s not a deal‑breaker, just a coffee lover’s wish.

The chalet was spacious and lovely. Unfortunately, there was no washing machine and the tumble dryer was broken.

The staff, especially security guys Adolf and Alan and Alice at reception, provided great service. The room was luxurious, comfortable, and lovely—highly recommend!
