The courtyard doesn’t match the photos, the play area is a bad joke, a real danger for any child, the pool is full of green sludge, there’s no living room or indoor playroom, the dining room is full of flies, there are no window screens or doors.

Peace! :-) Nice cabin in the garden. Delicious and healthy dinner and breakfast.

The rustic vibe! The bed was very comfortable, the linens were impeccable and smelled great! I can’t say we didn’t like anything; maybe a shower gel in the bathroom would have been nice.

Nice room, orchard fresh produce from the garden, friendly and helpful staff, but meals were overpriced, the children playground was out of commission, the pool was very cold even on the hottest summer days – which were the main reasons we booked it. The hot tub was also out of commission even though we booked it in advance, and prices do not match the level of effort they put into maintaining the property.

We were received very warmly by the Bassen pension for over a week. Breakfast was abundant, and the optional dinner was healthy and tasty. Our hosts were extremely friendly and eager to recommend local attractions, from cultural sites to hikes. Not everyone spoke English, but we managed to get by without major issues. We also liked having laundry facilities available. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
