“Катастрофа”

Not far from the station. The place was filthy—every mattress had stains, the linens were dirty and the towels were missing entirely, leaving the cleanliness level utterly confusing. There was no ventilation or heating; a heater hung above but without a remote! Towels were only available for rent (!!!), which is insane—paying for towels in a hotel? The price for a towel was more than half the room cost. I checked in with an arrest record (in the past), and the staff told me this is just a “nightstand” for homeless people of all kinds! They even photographed my passport as if that were a hotel rule.

New beds were a plus. However, there was trash under the mattresses.

The private room was okay for a single night, but the staff seemed unwilling to work.

The administrators were responsive, especially Ekaterina, who helped with every little thing! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable—my husband and I slept wonderfully. The only downside was the daily need to recharge the key card; it was exhausting to go to the reception every day when you just want to relax in the room, or to remember to charge it in advance.
