It’s in a fantastic location, only a short walk away from Taipei main station. I was able to walk to many of the main attractions in the area, or connect to the other metro lines to get me around the city. The room is quite small and would be a tight fit for 2 people. This is likely expected in central Taipei and at this price point

The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and ventilation worked well; the bathroom had strong water pressure, making showers pleasant. The area around the station has many well‑known beef noodle shops and snack stalls, so dining was very convenient. For the price I think the value‑for‑money was solid, perfect for a solo traveler on a light trip. The downside was that the sockets weren’t three‑hole, so without an adapter a laptop or extension cord couldn’t be used, though a nearby department store sold adapters. Some socket metal contacts were loose, so a heavier charger could slip out after a while; luckily there were enough sockets to switch to another one, but for laptop users having to reach farther for a functional outlet was a bit inconvenient.

The location was convenient and the room had plenty of lighting with separate switches, plus a small lamp could be left on. The staff were very friendly. On the downside, the coat rack was hard to use and offered little space for hanging clothes, and after sitting on the little sofa for a while my skin started to itch, suggesting it needs better cleaning.
