The town of Nebel is beautiful and the accommodation is well‑located, and the suite offers a great sea view. However, the suite didn’t match the description – there was no fridge or stove – and the room rates are relatively high.

The place is very central, right in the heart of Amrum, and there’s a self‑service fridge in the entrance area. Nothing to complain about.

It’s centrally located, the staff are friendly, the room is very clean, and I could leave my luggage there after check‑out. The winding, steep stairs to the second floor are difficult if you have mobility issues (this wasn’t mentioned in the description), and the coffee at breakfast, though black, had no taste at all – it was extremely weak.

The breakfast buffet is very abundant and everything is fresh. The hotel offers different quality rooms – very high‑end rooms in the annex and standard rooms in the main building – so there’s something for every budget. What’s unique is the “spirit” of the service: northern German, straightforward warmth combined with an unusually high and personal service quality. Rooms are cleaned not on a fixed schedule but individually, when the guest is having breakfast. Thank you, I felt very comfortable! The only downside was that the bed in the single room was a bit tight.
