The staff were welcoming and accommodated us even though we arrived earlier than stated; parking was in a closed courtyard, and there was a somewhat nervous dog that the owner had to keep away—probably a good guard.

The location is convenient on the road, there’s free parking right outside the building, and the single beds are comfortable. They told us breakfast starts at 8.00, but when we reached the counter they asked us to wait and nobody explained what or how much it would be. The staff only arrived at that time, so at 8.00 they couldn’t have prepared anything. Travelers driving need to factor in travel time.

Breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the value for money is excellent. It’s perfect for a layover, though I’d recommend exploring eastern Hungary. The floor skirting boards are splattered with paint and eye‑sore, but that’s just a detail.
