“I do not recommend staying here.”

The room’s layout was fine, yet it was unclean with cigarette ash on the desk and a strong smoke smell even though I had booked a non‑smoking room. I arrived late, exhausted from driving, and didn’t want to bother the front desk, so I decided to check out the next morning instead of staying the full length of my reservation. I called the front desk to cancel without a fee, citing the room’s condition, but they told me I couldn’t avoid the fee because it was my “job” to report the issue. I asked for a manager, and they said they were the manager; I asked for someone else and they promised a manager would call me, but no one ever did. I can only say I hope no one they care about is ever treated or spoken to in the way I was. I would not recommend this place; it feels very scammy.

Laketa at the desk was extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The room was spacious, nice, and well equipped, and the AC worked properly. The parking lot was well lit, so I felt safe. The parking spaces, however, were oddly arranged; if more cars were present, it would be hard to park and exit. They should repaint it, as the spots are very slanted and unevenly spaced.

The woman of color with natural hair—though I don’t know her name—was incredibly nice and always pleasant; I really love her. There was no smart TV.
