“Assolutamente consigliato”

I spent a night at Olmetta because of a wedding. The owner was very helpful, accommodating my early check‑in request. There is no intercom at the entrance; you have to call, and she explained everything clearly so I could find the keys. The entrance is nice and well kept, welcoming. The room was very pretty, very clean, and had several unexpected comforts (air conditioning, shower and sink detergents, a bottle of water that I liked a lot, a kettle, and various tea bags). Since it was August, breakfast wasn’t on site but at a nearby bar within walking distance; the staff there were also very friendly and explained what was included in the breakfast—cappuccino and brioche among a decent selection (I paid separately for a bottle of water; they were very accurate and kind in explaining it beforehand, so there were no surprises). The bed was somewhat uncomfortable: two single mattresses on a rigid surface (I didn’t check why) that separated slightly during the night, leaving me partially sleeping on what felt like a table. Even though the street isn’t particularly busy, it’s a bit noisy in the morning from cars passing underneath (but that’s not the property’s fault, and with the windows closed it’s probably less annoying).

The apartment was clean, and the air conditioning was working, which was lucky given the high temperatures. Mrs. Teresa was extremely kind and very helpful.

The house is very pretty, with a fenced garden and a covered relaxation area under a canopy. The room was clean and welcoming. The air conditioner was present and very useful. The bathroom was beautiful, with everything needed for washing. Breakfast was very good; I especially liked the variety of sweet options and the almond plant‑based milk alternative (even though that’s not my usual choice). The owner was super friendly and delightful. Definitely a great place to stay. The only drawbacks were that there was no savory option for breakfast and no microwave or way to heat the plant milk; I settled for dairy milk instead.
