“If I go to candy again, I will most certainly stay in the same hotel”
I enjoyed a very comfortable stay there; the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s in a very quiet, relaxing spot and you can easily reach the town centre by Tuk‑Tuk, but I appreciated getting back to the calmness after the town’s noise. I would highly recommend it. The place doesn’t have a lift, but the stairs are well proportioned and not too steep; I was using a walking stick and found no problem with the stairs, so a lift wasn’t necessary.
“Très bon rapport qualité prix”
The hotel is very beautiful and the staff are very attentive. It’s a shame we only stayed for one night.
“Disappointing stay”
We liked the bright double‑aspect room, which was larger than the ones we’d stayed in before. It almost felt like the room wasn’t ready for us: the TV wasn’t plugged in, there was no kettle, cups, or tea bags, and no bins for rubbish. It was very noisy with men talking loudly all night, and the electricity went out twice during the night—once while my husband was in the shower! The next morning there was no water for a shower at all.
The accommodation is very quiet on the mountain. It takes 15 minutes by car to reach Kandy centre. If you prefer peace and nature, this is the right spot. The house itself is quiet and the rooms are spacious and nice. The rooms facing the street are very new and bright; the rooms on the side are a bit darker. Unfortunately, there are no safes in the rooms.
“Très bon rapport qualité prix”
The staff were kind, the décor was clean, and the room was spacious.
