The inside of the property was very clean. The restaurant was tidy, and the first‑floor bathroom for guests was always spotless. The housekeeper kept our room clean. The photo above doesn’t look exactly like the real place. The towels felt a bit rough, probably because of how they dry them in Senegal. I’d give the exterior a three for appearance; even if they updated the landscaping to look nicer, some bark would clash with the greenery. The outside would be a three, while the inside earns a nine. We traveled with two other couples to Senegal: one couple stayed with relatives, the other stayed with the first couple’s relatives because they said the hotel’s exterior looked substandard and they wouldn’t want to go inside. However, we invited the second couple into our room and they thought the interior was very nice, but the outside was not inviting—it looked like a low‑budget $25 US‑dollar hotel where prostitution might happen. For example, the paint was a bit chipped. It just wasn’t as picturesque as you’d expect for $1,500.00 US dollars. Before going to a hotel in that area, I would definitely choose a resort that meets our living standards. In fact, one night we went up to Fatahala and stayed at a resort for 90 bucks; it was so clean and pretty, had a pool, and we had beach access. Recommendation: I googled a vegetarian pizza picture, went to the restaurant, and they didn’t have pizza, but they helped us find someone nearby who could deliver a vegetarian pizza. Maybe the hotel could add vegetarian or cheese pizza to the menu for pizza lovers, and the menu could be written in English as well as French or Wolof for American guests.

The rooms were spacious and clean, but there was a lot of noise in the rooms; it felt like a generator was running all the time.

Breakfast was decent—no complaints. The location was great, close to most spots. The staff were very friendly and patient with my broken French 😊

I had a great stay at this residence, which was nicely located, spotless, and had a friendly and professional staff. The meals were good, and the airport shuttle was a convenient perk, although the price could be more competitive. However, I was a bit underwhelmed by the limited breakfast options. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
