Seogwipo Beautiful Resort

The room was large with a balcony, a well‑furnished kitchen and bathroom, and a great TV and air‑conditioner; the view from the balcony was excellent. The bus station was close to the hotel entrance, and nearby restaurants and a temple were convenient. The bed felt stiff, so I asked for a blanket to soften it and received one.

The resort is on the village side, making access to basic facilities from outside very difficult. Given its location, the price should be less than 50,000 won/night, but the outdoor scenery is nice. The resort is far from the actual city.

“Good location with a peek of sea”

The room had everything I needed—TV, AC, towel, water heater, soap, shampoo, toothpaste—and it all worked well. The staff’s English was weak, and the bus schedule was unpredictable unless you walked to Yakcheonsa Temple to check the board.

“저 금액도 비싼거에요,,,”

The owner was friendly, but I kept getting emails telling me to leave a review, so I obliged. The place had a terrible mold smell, the bed smelled sour, the toilet in the bathroom seemed unclean with urine splashing, the drain wasn’t clogged but water drained very slowly, and there was a weird mirror next to the bed that made me feel uneasy. The hallway was creepy at night and even in the morning because there weren’t many guests.

It was a nice spot, but the beds were too hard, the rooms were steeped in cigarette odor, and there was no air flow in the hallways.
