The mountain vibe of a lodge that mixes old‑world charm with modern comfort, along with a very good meal from breakfast to dinner, made for a great stay, and there was nothing to complain about.

The owners are kind, friendly and helpful with explanations and needs. The paid breakfast is plentiful and tasty, and you can take leftovers for hikes (everything is allowed). The dinners are excellent in quality and variety and feature interesting recipes. The room is small but very welcoming with a nice terrace. The location is roughly halfway through Val Maira and makes it easy to drive to all the places where you can start hikes. Absolutely recommended.

First off, the honest price‑quality ratio. A spot in Val Maira still affordable for Italian tourists, don’t change and stay genuine like that. We liked everything. The stay was very comfortable, the rooms were stunning, the beds were cozy, and the dinner and breakfast were superb.
