Guest House Colosseo Terrestre sits in Rome’s heart, just 300 m from the Colosseum and a 4‑minute walk to Domus Aurea. Rooms boast air‑conditioning, parquet floors, private baths, free WiFi, streaming, a minibar and work desk. Nearby Palatine Hill, Santa Maria Maggiore, and the Forum are all within a 15‑minute stroll, while the Vittorio Emanuele metro station is 15 min away.

Very convenient location just a couple of blocks from the Colosseum. So many excellent restaurants and cafes within a block or two. Entry was easy enough once we got things figured out. Small but efficient elevator. Room was large enough for the two of us with a comfortable couch, table and chair, and shelves and open closet with hangers. The bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was reasonably sized and functional. Room faced the side street above the outdoor seating for the restaurant downstairs. A bit loud in the evening but that just comes with the location. Check in and communication with the staff was excellent and friendly

The facility was clean and the rooms were beautiful, and the location was easy to reach. The owner communicated smoothly and was great whenever I had a question. I would book here again without hesitation.

The spot was well‑situated, the bed was comfortable, and the place was clean. There were nice restaurants nearby and a 24/7 Carrefour Express close by. Marco was very friendly and helped us arrange a taxi for our departure day, which we really appreciated. However, we didn’t get our room until 1 hour and 15 minutes after the official check‑in time, and we were only told about the delay via WhatsApp 9 minutes before check‑in (at 14:51) while we were already almost at the guest house’s entrance. Apparently the room’s cleaning was still unfinished. We received plenty of verbal apologies but no other compensation, which was frustrating after a long travel day and lowered my overall rating. We were also slightly disappointed by the broken toilet seat and the fact that the waste bin could be much larger, especially since it wasn’t emptied during our stay; a bigger bin would be more practical for several days’ worth of rubbish.

The location was excellent, just a couple of blocks from the Colosseum yet far enough to avoid tourist crowds. Plenty of restaurants were just steps away from our door for a cappuccino and cornetto in the morning or dinner in the evening. The elevator to our room was a relief after walking all day. Marco answered any questions quickly and was extremely friendly. The room was modern, quiet, clean, and the shower facilities were better than we could have expected. The king‑size bed was comfortable and spacious. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay.
