The location was good—near the Russian market with easy tuk‑tuk access to the rest of the city. The owners were friendly when I arrived and helpful throughout my stay, and true to its name, the environment was quite peaceful. The room was very hot and not very clean; I left my bags in one corner and when I returned there were tiny insects crawling all over them. Fortunately I didn’t find bugs on the bed, but there were hundreds elsewhere. The bathrooms were too small and not very clean, with very little toilet paper. There was very limited space in general, with no AC or cooling system. I’m not sure if even the affordable price tag makes up for these disadvantages.
