The spot was great, a ☕ Dona Regina just around the corner that was really good, the place felt very safe, and the Balbi restaurant was excellent and cheap. The room didn't look like the pictures, it felt a bit neglected, the single bed was in bad condition, I told Eduardo (who was very friendly) but nothing got fixed.

The location and the quiet at night were positives. The whole room was rough; we were three people in room 2, it was already worn out and needed upkeep. The mattresses and pillows were deformed and made it hard to sleep. There was no space to leave luggage—no wardrobe, just five hangers and a few fabric shelves for towels and blankets. The floor and doors were peeling or swollen, the toilet lid had a loose screw that moved when you used it. There were no towel racks and the LED mirror light was hanging below. Two legs of the big bed were bent. They never changed the towels during our four‑day stay. We tried to brew tea the first day and the kettle was black; it was cleaned afterward. I had read good reviews—if I’m not mistaken 7.9—so I didn’t expect this.

The location was good, easy to walk to all sights and the bus station. The room was clean, bedding and towels were clean. But it was a converted garage into apartments, the noise was like a busy street, so bring earplugs. There was no window in the room. The table, coffee machine, and microwave were shared with other tenants (another room). And of course everything was already old.

Nothing but the location. The building was awful—so many things were wrong: the parquet was ruined, the duvet cover was stained, the shower was broken, the doors were damaged, the radiators were rusty. The front door wouldn’t close and the iron gate was very easy to open.
