The night view from the roof terrace is lovely. However, the rooms are cramped, there are no balconies as advertised, and no garden – just a small, poorly maintained terrace. It’s not far from the old town, but the steep incline to the sights is difficult for those with limited mobility.

The hotel has a unique charm; everything is spotless. Breakfast offered a wide range of tasty foods and the service was outstanding. The staff felt like family, meeting every request. A restaurant opposite the hotel catered to my dietary needs and served amazing food. Antis Hotel arranged several tours at good prices to explore Turkey. The view of the Istanbul skyline and Sultan Ahmet is spectacular for photos. Fatih brewed a perfect Turkish coffee and we had great conversations. I’ll definitely return and recommend it!

Breakfast is a buffet of fresh Turkish dishes. The hotel sits in the city center, close to the Blue Mosque and other attractions, within walking distance of trams and ferries, and surrounded by many good restaurants. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and always available. Ayse at reception, who speaks English, gave us great travel tips and even arranged a good hairdresser for me; she’s an excellent receptionist and guide. Ahmet was also very helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We’ll definitely stay here again in wonderful Istanbul.

The location is excellent, especially considering the price. The room was small and a bit old. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work (the room itself is also quite small and windowless).
