The lobby looked nice, but after taking the elevator I was shocked by how poorly insulated the room is—door slams were so loud I couldn't sleep, and even after falling asleep I was woken up 4–5 times. Other guests seemed to keep no volume control, and the room itself feels very old; a renovation would be wise. I had booked the Ritz to try something new, but this was a disappointment.

The spot is great, right around the roundabout with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel’s car park, parked next to the building, charges NTD150 for 24 hrs. The bathroom separates dry and wet areas and even has a bidet, which is a big plus! The AC seems unresponsive, so if you’re sensitive to heat the temperature can feel a bit high.

Overall it’s pretty good—clean, decent breakfast, and friendly front‑desk staff. However, people outside downstairs talk loudly, so the soundproofing feels lacking.
