“Could have been a very romantic stay with a little attention prior to arrival from staff”
The scenery was gorgeous. The yurt felt swelteringly hot when we arrived, and because we were the only guests, the air‑conditioning was not switched on until the afternoon. The outdoor bathtub, which had been a major reason for choosing this place, was dirty. We didn’t get hot water until the next morning after calling the office; apparently the heater was broken, something that should have been caught before we came, again because we were the only guests. Breakfast didn’t start until 8 am, too late for us. I admit I didn’t consider the air quality that time of year and we essentially slept in a tent breathing smoke all night. In‑room supplies were minimal for a location like this—just half a can of Pringles, a few other chips, water, beer, a bottle of wine, and a coffee maker with two pods.
