Parrot Lodge

The food was very tasty and the staff were super friendly. We only stayed one night, but we’d book this lodge again for a stopover or a longer stay anytime. Everything was a bit old‑fashioned, but that’s not a real complaint since everything was clean and tidy.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel, where the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to organize everything from taxis to safaris and even my onward travel. The atmosphere was lively and family-friendly, and the food was delicious. I couldn't have asked for more.

“Great place to stay in Bulawayo”

I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel multiple times for work, and I must say the owner and staff have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. They've gone out of their way to assist us with travel arrangements and offer valuable advice, making our stays even more enjoyable. The breakfast served here is always well-prepared and plentiful, which is a great way to start the day. Overall, it's a great choice for anyone looking for a welcoming and convenient place to stay.

One of the unique features of this hotel is the presence of birds, which can be a lovely addition to the atmosphere. However, the numerous holes in the roof can make one feel a bit uneasy, as if they're being constantly watched. To make matters worse, the doors in the rooms can't be locked from the inside, which raises some security concerns. Despite these issues, the birds are a redeeming feature.
