“Fine for few days but I wouldn’t stay longer”

The location was excellent, right near the city center, and the bed was extremely comfortable so I slept very well. Unfortunately, the WiFi was virtually non‑existent, the apartment had only a tiny window at the entrance causing it to smell and be quite dark, and I could smell and see humidity. Being close to a square made it very loud at night.

“Lovely location and comfortable accommodation.”

The accommodation was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was nice, and the bed was very cozy; many personal touches made it feel homey. The host was easy to reach when needed and helpful with maps, even though he spoke no English, which was fine. Being on the piazza was nice but it also made the place noisy with cars and people, especially on weekend nights. Breakfast was mentioned but the selection was extremely limited.

The best part of the place was its location. The fact that the two mini‑apartments share a connecting door, even when closed, meant that everything from one room could be heard in the other, so the soundproofing was poor. The cleanliness was also bad: the bathroom bin had paper inside, the sheets were stained, and there were hair that wasn’t ours in the shower. The advertised luggage storage wasn’t available, and I would remove that from the list of services. Wi‑Fi worked only near the entrance, and 5G was absent in the mini‑apartment. The mentioned bidet was actually just a showerhead. Checkout was at 10 a.m.; the lady pressed the door before the time, anxious for us to leave, and when we arrived she offered us to leave early to visit Bari, asking us to inform her if we left early because she expected guests. Another issue was that the mini‑fridge in the adjoining apartment broke, and the lady called us after we had been there for 10 minutes, asking if she could take our fridge and give it to the neighbors. That felt inappropriate, especially since she wanted to take it immediately or enter our room while we were not there with our belongings inside; I’ve had other travel experiences but never seen something like that.

“Nice apartment close to town, with a fantastic host.”

The accommodation was great, and the host did an excellent job meeting us on site. It’s a short walk to the main part of town and local bars. The square outside was a late‑night gathering spot, so it could get noisy; ear plugs were a treat.
