I was blown away by this experience. The service is fabulous, and the stay is wonderful. The place is quiet and peaceful, with a great garden and the option to use its halls to relax. It feels like a magical spot where you can truly experience staying in a unique historic property. Juan and Victor welcome you in their palace and give you a guided tour through their rooms, explaining every detail from the restoration to the furniture. It’s something special in Spain, an Indian house open to the public, shown with care and elegance, and everything is presented with great taste. Highly recommended!

“Un viaje en el tiempo”

It’s not a hotel; it feels more like sleeping in a house‑museum. The restoration and décor are spectacular, all meticulously cared for, and explained in detail by one of the hosts. A real pleasant surprise in Mondoñedo. Parking is easy on the street. There’s a large garden to enjoy and a huge historic lounge where you can sit (or lie down) to read or think. Beware: there is no catering or breakfast service, but Mondoñedo has plenty of places for that.

La décoration du gîte ! Très beau bâtiment très préservé. Pas de petit déjeuner à la hauteur des lieux !
