The location on the slopes. The room was small

La proximité avec les pistes, mais le service n’était pas très commerçant.

The buffet breakfast was great—mostly continental but with a few hot items like sausages and eggs, and my daughter loved the lychees and the pastries were really nice. The restaurant served good meals, especially if you like meat. The downside, which is also its main strength, is that the hotel is on the slopes and ski‑in ski‑out, so unless you have a car you can’t easily get into town in the evening. Luckily the hotel’s restaurant is good.

The breakfast looked plentiful, yet many items were dry (like the viuennoiseries) and some even tasted sour—especially the fruit in syrup, which seemed to be the same juice from Tuesday to Friday. The menu was narrow, the dishes greasy, and overall unappetizing, so after trying it we chose to eat lunch and dinner elsewhere. The service was rough, everything felt old‑fashioned and out of date; it’s clear the managers aren’t investing in this hotel, even though it’s in a prime spot on the slopes, and it’s starting to feel like the end.

The hotel sits right on the slopes, a short walk from the parking, so you can ski in and out without hassle; kids can play outside after the pistes close without worry. The rooms and common areas could use a refreshing makeover, and the reception layout isn’t intuitive once you enter from the top; automatic lighting should be installed elsewhere than just the corridors to the rooms, and the timing would need to be extended. It feels more like a family pension than a hotel.
