The charm of the estate, the comfort of the large room, the friendliness of the reception, the excellence of the breakfast, and the very good value for money. Adding a tea tray and a small safe in the room would be nice.

The staff were incredibly nice, and the gesture of a wine bottle on the room was a real treat—just like a proper winery!

The restaurant staff were especially friendly and the food was excellent, though the menu was a bit cumbersome; the service more than compensated for that. Prices were on the higher side. The room was clean and we slept well. The location was lovely, just a few steps from the Rhine, and parking was available at no extra cost. The front desk felt very plain and we were directed to an entrance above the courtyard to reach our room, which involved climbing a steep staircase with our luggage. The Standard Suite was quite simple, but the bed was comfortable. The TV in front of the bed was tiny and barely visible even from the edge of the mattress, so we never used it. The couch lacked a small side table and faced a bare wall; that would have been a better spot for the TV. Street noise was present but not overly disturbing. We missed having a list of useful information in the room such as the Wi‑Fi password and phone numbers.

The photos showing grand parks and majestic buildings were nowhere to be found, leaving me feeling cheated. The place is actually a vineyard with adjacent buildings used as lodging, which was a huge letdown. The information, recommendation and mediation offered to customers were completely inadequate; we’ll look elsewhere for reliable travel details.
